ROCIDE BC 601

DESCRIPTION 

 

ROCIDE BC - 601 is a liquid broad-spectrum microbiocide, based on organo sulfer compound, for use in open recirculating systems. 

 

PURPOSE 

 

Rocide BC 601 is an ideal broad-spectrum biocide, being effective against most kinds of bacteria, algae and fungi.  It is a particularly useful product for air-wash systems and is compatible with all commonly used antifoulants and corrosion inhibitors.

FEED REQUIREMENTS 

 

Routine dosage of Rocide BC 601 is 50 to 100 ppm based on the total water capacity of the system.  Dosage will be necessary once or twice per week depending on the severity of the problem.  For badly fouled systems, a higher dosage of 100 to 150 ppm should be given initially for the first one or two weeks. 

 

METHOD OF FEEDING  

 

The calculated quantity of biocide should be added directly to the system at any convenient point. 

 

HANDLILNG 

 

Harmful if taken internally and not for use in potable water systems.  Any skin or eye contamination should be thoroughly washed with water.  Seek medical attention if necessary
